Augustina Droze Mural Studio works in collaboration with other international agencies and non-governmental organizations to spread hope and uplift communities through the creation of community art projects.
In 2008 in collaboration with
"Chicago Hopes", Augustina worked with homeless children at a local
Chicago shelter to create a mural about the children's dreams for the
future. During the series of workshops over 8 weeks, the children
expressed their inner dreams through art and learned to work together.
Augustina Droze Mural Studio was represented at the "World Children's
Festival" in 2007 in Washington DC on the National Mall. Augustina
worked with talented children from around the world on a recycled
sculpture project and a mural about cultural unity that was later
presented to President Bush.
In 2007 Augustina travelled to Vijayawada, India to paint a mural with the orphaned and needy children at "Child Aid Foundation". The children loved painting with Augustina (many had never had the opportunity to create art before). The mural's message of literacy and education also provided hope and a powerful message for the community.
